Hello, and thank you for your interest in our services. I thought I would take a moment to tell you a little bit about myself and what motivates me. First you should know that I have been studying to be a health care provider for most of my adult life. It is hard to say when it started exactly but I know it was inspired by my love for sport and human performance.
You could say that I am a bit of movement geek. I love learning how humans move and function. It interests me to no end about how an individual’s capacity for movement is lost, how it can be regained and how it can be maximized for optimal performance. Even after over nine years of post secondary education I am still motivated to learn more.
I attended the University of Windsor, where in 2001 I graduated with honors from the Faculty of Human Kinetics (Kinesiology). Yup, five years of studying about movement, the human body, and health. I told you I was a movement geek. During university I worked, and volunteered, in many diverse fields of health care; including physiotherapy, ergonomics, personal training and chiropractic.
I was attracted to the chiropractic profession because of the capacity one could have to help heal others by hand. The potential that I could have as a chiropractor in restoring the health of someone in need, without surgery and/or pharmaceuticals, prompted me to enroll at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2001. I graduated from CMCC in 2005 with distinction, and set off on my career of serving others through chiropractic.
I have been practicing in Hope since 2009, and I have enjoyed practicing in such a great community. There have been many positive experiences since living in Hope…my first practice, my first house, the birth of our first child – many blessings that continue to inspire me to practice and live in Hope.
I work every day to be a better chiropractor and trust that you will find me to be a valuable and trusted health care professional to help you achieve better health. In short, the scope of my practice is to treat conditions that relate to any joint or any muscle in the human body, and at any age. Please read the section on chiropractic under the services section of this website for more information. I look forward to serving you and your family for years to come.
